This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work on CRM activity which make a real difference to the success of customer proposition. Working within a retail business, you will develop your existing numerical and analytical capabilities while working on a wide spectrum of customer strategy initiatives. Working closely with the Head of Loyalty, you are expected to drive value creation through targeted customer offer activity resulting in improved share of wallet, retention and new customer acquisition across a range of product areas. The role offers great potential for progression into obtaining niche expertise or into the wider organisation.

CRM Analyst Main duties & responsibilities:

· Support development of new campaigns to drive up-sell, cross-sell, retention and acquisition through analytics and data modelling
· Undertake analysis to conclude on customer behaviour hypotheses and impact of new campaign trials
· Build and maintain a cross-product customer database to facilitate coordinated customer CRM activity
· Build life-cycle CRM programme on the back of customer data including customer segmentation, life-time valuation and predictive modelling
· Ownership of weekly CRM KPIs including reporting back on trends and drivers of performance to senior business stakeholders Manage execution process with 3rd party suppliers to ensure timely activation of customer offers
· Take responsibility for compliance data analysis and support mapping of all customer correspondence to ensure compliance
· Drive streamlining and automation of CRM modelling and end-to-end execution process
· Support day-to-day operations of customer loyalty activity
· Opportunity to work on customer strategy projects within the area of both retail and multi-channel


· Numerate university degree; (minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent)
· Ideally 1-2 years commercial experience in an customer-focused analytical, statistical or quantitative role;
· Ability to apply aptitude and analytical rigor to perform structured analysis of data and synthesis into useful formats and bring actionable commercial insights
· Hands-on knowledge of database mining, list segmentation and/or predictive modelling an advantage
· Pro-active problem solver with flexibility to work across an open, fast moving entrepreneurial company
· Ability in Microsoft Excel a requirement
· Knowledge of SQL a distinct advantage
· Experience of using statistical software and techniques (S-Plus, R, SPSS, SAS etc.) an advantage
